About the artist
Wild Rabbit
Wild Rabbit Beads is a 24-year-old artist, activist and from Nogojiwanong (Peterborough) Ontario. She draws on her mixed Mi'kmaq ancestry for inspiration and uses both traditional and modern designs and materials. Her paternal family is from Sheet Harbour Eskikewa’kik Unama’kik (Skin Dresser Territory, Nova Scotia). Each item is handcrafted with love in her apartment.
