Júlio F. R. Costa (b. 1989) lives and works in Torres Novas. He is a PhD candidate in Art History at FLUL, has a Master’s degree in Art Markets from ISCTE, and a degree in Philosophy from FLUL. He has published articles analyzing the contemporary situation of the world in general and of the art world in particular. However, he has spent most of his time working on cultural projects of various natures and producing art in various mediums. He has organized exhibitions and festivals and written books, but only one has been published, “Scraps of Eduardo Lopo’s Life” (2019). He has participated in several video art and experimental film festivals (FUSO 2017, 2020, 2022; Indielisboa 2018 and 2019; among others), including a feature film “A History of a Nation”, which premiered at Festival Ecrã, in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, in 2022. Therefore, a cultural handyman.
