Living with the desire to relocate to an Island, Stuck in Traffic. Yes you feel stuck and trapped physically, but mentally you’re also feeling stuck and trapped in a day to day life you want to escape from. There’s so much more in life for you to discover and experience. But unfortunately you still wake up everyday and put yourself into the stand still traffic you drove yourself into.

Creating a painting or a drawing is my soul facing the mirror. Without creation I would have no reflection. I show my love by painting those I love most in hoping they understand that what I really mean to say is I love you. I express my pain with a paint brush or pen so I don’t overwater too many shoulders. I’m unable to express myself in any other way, it’s too difficult. Painting and drawing for me, is like taking a deep breath when you’re in a panic. This path was not a choice, each step in this journey is the sustenance of my being. With Love Always, Selina Peixoto
