About this artwork
Blythe is British, but she can still shake your shamrocks! I initially gained inspiration for my People Watching series working in advertising. I was entranced yet repelled by the glossy images in magazines. I created blind contour paintings, transforming sterile, perfect images into whimsical satire. People watching is one of my favorite pastimes and its namesake series has expanded to include travel, child and angel portraits. Wired to hang with a single nail. All edges painted &. 1.5 inches deep. No framing needed.

About the artist
I’m a full time artist and art educator, always looking for new inspiration on my global travels. I was originally drawn to the West Coast by art and academic scholarships to the University of Southern California. Over a decade later, my art is featured in private collections in cities across North America, Europe, the Middle East, Asia, and the South Pacific. I delight in sharing her passion for art with the public, nonprofits, and my numerous pupils, novice to pro, ages 1-100.
