About this artwork
Part of ‘Comfort Zone’ project. Conceptual text, in the frame: Expanding the comfort zone – warm feeling. A suitcase , full of curiosity and a good premonition. Getting out of the comfort zone – cold feeling. A suitcase, full of expectations and doubts. paper 330 gsm; Sediment process *, UV Schmincke coating; box framing The object 'Other Sun beyond the Comfort Zone' is created of recycled natural material (found objects), which refers to the Vanitas symbolism. -- * This new pictorial concept, developed over the years, is a visual language with its syntax and is based on mathematical logic and linear perspective. It recreates a feeling of movement through cross-sections, with the means of painting. It conveys the message of aesthetic of slow motion – an ethical opportunity to observe the phase of deviation – for understanding beyond the ego.
