Rebecca Hillery-Tong is a London based Fashion Artist, formally trained in Art and Fashion Design (BA) at Kingston University, London, UK. After a career of 30 years as a professional fashion designer Rebecca quit the industry to focus on art. In 2020 she had begun to create fashion inspired artwork and showcase it online. In 2023 she was invited by FIDA x Fashion Scout to sketch live from the runway at London Fashion Week. She takes inspiration from the colliding worlds of fashion, popular culture and contemporary art using an expressive style with bold colour. Her practice is spontaneous, created mostly by hand in mixed media, occasionally with digital finishes. She now works solely as an artist on commissions, live events and preparing for exhibitions. Rebecca exhibited in 2 group shows in 2023; ‘Faces & Spaces’ and ‘The Art of Looking’ at The Winning Gallery, Greater London, UK. And has limited edition prints in a rotating solo show ‘Fashion Faces’ at DiSH cafe/gallery in Hampton Court, Greater London. Instagram rebecca_ht_art
