iresor IKULU Is a Belgian artist of Congolese origin born in 1987 in Bukavu, Democratic Republic of the Congo. Passionate about drawing from an early age, he developed his artistic practice independently and continued to nurture his passion over the years. Refusing to confine himself to a particular style, he paints according to the principle of "automatic writing." In 2014, he obtained his degree in Architecture from the Catholic University of Louvain. Alongside his career as an architect, he continued to develop his artistic practice through various commissions. In 2016, with his work entitled "Translations and Symbols" he won the Public Prize in de la Francité, a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting the French language. In 2017, on the occasion of the end-of-year celebrations he created a window mural for the Centre Communautaire du Chant d'Oiseau. In 2018, he held his first exhibition, "ORIGINS AND COLORS," at the Centre Communautaire du Chant d'Oiseau. In 2019, he exhibited again as part of the « Congolisation » festival and the « ISABIS ART EXPO ».
