My mission has always been to inspire happiness through my work. Born and raised in Little Rock, Arkansas I was trained in Art at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock. But, as often happens, life took me down a different path, including raising my four beautiful daughters. Then, in the stillness of the pandemic’s early days, I picked up my brushes again and discovered a renewed purpose that lifted me up and carried me through the darkness of that time. What emerged was a collection of art devoted to wellbeing, joy, and a determination to continue. The focus of my work is painting all things that bring me joy, be it animals, still life, or landscape. In this time of uncertainty, it’s more important than ever to embrace the light- things positive and uplifting. When you walk by my work hanging cheerily in your home, I pray you feel joy and an abiding hope for the future.
