About this artwork
“Diaphane” is a delightful escape into a garden of white roses. Painted on a 20” wooden canvas, it Features a rich dark background that beautifully contrasts with the soft pastel touches amidst the white blooms. The textured oil paint, enhanced with an underlayer of modeling paste, gives the painting a unique three dimensional effect, making it feel as though the roses are gently emerging from the canvas.
