Through his figurative painting, the artist aims to counter the visual fatigue caused by the mass media’s overwhelming image consumption. He creates quiet works that invite contemplation and restore an intimate gaze. Inspired by pre-existing images, particularly from cinema, he presents enigmatic scenes that provoke questions without offering answers. His landscapes and portraits seek to create serene reflections, offering peace in a hectic world. Educated in Fine Arts across Chicago, Seville, and Valencia, he has also studied with artists like Antonio López and exhibited in cities like London, Helsinki, and Tokyo. He has received honors such as the National Painting Prize from the Mainel Foundation and the Vila de Paterna Biennial and has been selected for prestigious awards, including the BP Portrait Award in London.
