I am both a painter and ceramic artist. Originally from South Korea, I obtained my BFA from Hongik University's School of Fine Arts in Seoul. In my paintings, I utilize multiple layers of acrylic Gouache paints to recreate the effects of traditional Korean pigment-based paints, resulting in a texture and palette that distinctly diverges from Western styles.
