I’m Magín Carretero Pons, a visual artist and illustrator based in Menorca. My work brings together painting, drawing and graphic experimentation, shaped by colour, gesture and the freedom to create. I studied graphic design at Barreira in Valencia and went on to expand my practice into audiovisual work. This background sits alongside a more intuitive artistic approach, where characters, everyday scenes and compositions bordering on abstraction emerge. I’m interested in exploring what an image can convey without having to explain everything. I have shown my work in exhibitions such as Ilustra and Sillas / Cadires. Each piece captures a moment in that evolution: decisions, impulses and forms that retain traces of the creative process. Here you’ll find original artworks and illustrations for those seeking a personal connection with art. Pieces with a character of their own, capable of sparking curiosity, becoming part of a space and marking the beginning or continuation of a collection.
