Archival-ink liner and watercolor on 250 gr, acid-free paper. “The Kid and the Big Tree” interprets an imaginary tale of a boy discovering the fantastic world hidden behind the biggest tree in his garden. It is a tale about the internal fight when choosing between one’s calling and reality, represented by his dad and his house. Most stories I interpret are graphic snapshots of the daily reality present at that moment, in and around me. This drawing from the series “Periscope” is a rare one, as it interprets a story shared with me by a stranger while sitting in a park.
