I am a 63 year old self taught multi medium artist. My parents swore that it wasn't omg after they adopted me at ten months, I was already grabbing anything that would make a mark and trying to draw things I saw around me around me. My father got me a blackboard and chalk and there I went! Next, he bought me a setD.f watercolors, and I wasted no time teaching myself to paint. I sold my first two paintings for $50 to a man at our school's open house. They weren't even for sale--he spied them and brought out the $50--mire money than I had ever actually seen, let alone HAD! I have taught myself everything I know including bit only visual arts,v ut also creative writing, poetry and even songwriting--ltrics-- despite the fact that I can't play ANY musical instrument or even read music!
