About this artwork
- unstretched canvas Trapped in Comfort is an abstract expressionist painting that explores the tension between comfort and confinement. The vibrant, contrasting colors create a sense of energy and chaos, while the overlapping forms suggest a feeling of being trapped or restricted. The dominant use of red and orange evokes a sense of passion and intensity, yet also hints at underlying anxiety or frustration. The artwork's title adds a layer of irony, suggesting that comfort can also be a source of limitation or entrapment.

About the artist
My Name is Sonja Cvetkovic, I am born on July 22, 1997, in Hall in Tirol, Austria. I'm a self-taught artist who immerses herself in abstract expressionism and intuitive painting, using acrylics, brushes and palette knives to translate my innermost emotions onto the canvas. My journey into art began as a response to being diagnosed with bipolar disorder, offering me a place to channel my turbulent feelings. I operated (not anymore) under the pseudonym "pavlopicassovic," and showcased my emotionally charged pieces, urging viewers to explore the depths of their own emotions. Currently residing in Tyrol, I harbor dreams of expanding my portfolio and establishing a dedicated studio space to further delve into the world of intuitive abstract painting.
