I am an abstract expressionistic intuitive automatist, involved in a process to base practice, working with a large scale oil paintings. I'm self-taugh, although Ive recently graduted and now hold a BFA rom OCAD University. My work is pulled out of the canvas at times of of personal struggle- l wherein the elements and principles of art within the work act, as medicines, antidotes, to some of the emotionally violent proclivities that our life on earth is comprised of. Music is my main reason for creating, and im always harnessing the soundscape I currate for each painting session- a modern alchemy if you will- senestia of the soul.
