Angélique Nagovskaya (b. 1998, Montreal, CA) received her BFA in Studio Arts and BA in Art History in 2022 from Cornell University, New York. She moved on to study at the Royal College of Art, London, earning an MA in Painting in 2023. Angelique’s paintings create an augmented sense of reality. She walks the line between the familiar and foreign, the accessible and ambiguous, reworking images of the natural to create figural environments that question one's relationship with land, body, space and memory.
