I am Moshood Adejare, a Brooklyn-based artist with Nigerian heritage, who finds joy in using various artistic mediums to reflect my thoughts and engage in social commentary. I am a proud alumnus of Yaba College of Technology, a prestigious arts school in Nigeria, where I honed my skills in painting and specialized in graphic design. My professional journey has taken me through several creative commercial industries, including advertising, animation, and game design studios, as well as leadership roles in design teams at a financial institution. Now, I am channeling my energy into art forms that speak truth and avoid deceit. My paintings showcase the interpretive limitations inherent in each medium. I am currently exploring artistic styles reminiscent of the post-cave painterly era. My latest interest in using recyclable cardboard paper is a personal challenge, testing my ability to convey ideas with a burst of brushstrokes.
