I am a British ceramicist based in South East London specialising in hand-built work; moulds and sculpting. Currently a member of the Ceramics Co-op in Deptford and the London Potters, I have work for sale at the independent artists store; Deptford Does Art and the online market places Glassette, The Oblist and Holly & Co. My piece “Nobody Loves Me” was exhibited as part of Thrown Contemporary’s online winter exhibition and my vases “But they Won’t Flower” and “Little Boxes” were shown in the Holy Art Gallery’s Digital Exhibition Art on a Loop in Barcelona. My ceramic art is a vibrant fusion of colour and words, drawing inspiration from the bold and eye-catching style of Oldenburg. By incorporating lyrics, I aim to infuse my pieces with a dynamic narrative, creating a visual symphony that captivates and resonates with viewers on an emotional level. The text used might spark a memory for the viewer and create further meaning on a deeper, more personal level. Each creation is a celebration of the interplay between form, colour, and the evocative power of language, inviting the audience to engage both visually and intellectually with the art.
