I am drawn to an artwork when...

I am confronted with its story in a glance. Like the moment I met this slim young lady at a family and friends function. Seemingly from different worlds, where the backstreets meet the Ivy League. On a sunny evening where the sun’s rays bounced off her beautiful crystal brown irises and my gaze turned into the first actions to procure a magnificent piece in a class just out of my reach, but for a moment. This is what art does for me, she is everywhere and I love being inspired by her.
