About this artwork
Oil on linen. Painted on site over several days late this spring at Francis King Park near Victoria, BC Wsanec land. The title comes from the fact that soon after starting this painting I noticed half way up on the left trunk was a Pacific Slope Flycatcher nest, so all the while making this painting I was witness to chattering and coming and goings of these beautiful little birds.
