My artistic practice aims to visually represent the beauty and absurdity of human experiences in the form of figurative oil paintings and digital art. Having long suffered from social anxiety, I have developed a sensitivity and fascination for human interaction. I'm fascinated by the way we relate to each other through experiences, social struggles and our individual perception of the world we live in. My art reflects this observational quest to capture the complexity of human interaction, an approach shaped by my interest in communication in the technological age, central to my artistic process.y aim is to capture these interactions in a contrasting, surreal and humorous way, in order to interpret and contextualize my observations, weaving them into narrative scenes. My creative process involves using original, found images as the skeleton for my compositions, assembling them using software and artificial intelligence. I then paint them digitally as a first version and reinterpret this work in oils. I don't try to paint realistically: figurative oil painting is for me a deliberately imperfect practice whose unexpected results are the most interesting. I try to reproduce this aesthetic in my digital paintings and animations, as digital work can often aim for perfection. Conversational, my art doesn't aim for perfection, but rather to pose a question and offer a narrative open to aesthetic and narrative interpretation for the audience.
