Anton Vitkovskiy is an international artist known for his unique style and movement in art called Tribal Expressionism. Born in Simferopol, Crimea in 1985, Anton grew up surrounded by the mystical and magical scenery of the Crimean peninsula on the Black Sea coast. He arrived in the United States at the age of 16 and spent 12 years in Virginia Beach, where he studied graphic design at Virginia Commonwealth University and was influenced by artists such as Jean Michael Basquiat, Pablo Picasso, and Edward Munch. Anton's artistic vision was also influenced by the ancient art of mesoamerica and prehistoric art. Anton's art combines prehistoric and tribal visual elements, ornaments, and symbols with expressionism aesthetic. He has been featured in solo and group exhibitions in art collectives and galleries around the world, including Art Fair Salon International d'art Contemporain Art fare (Art3F) in Luxemburg, solo Exhibition at La Domaine Capelongue in France, exhibits at Tribeca Art Factory and Unruly Collective in NYC, and group exhibitions in Tokyo, Japan.
